Scope
The scope of work of GHI covers the following subject areas
- Political
- Social
- Economic
- Cultural
The following types of subjects are out of scope: topics that fall within Hinduism - e.g. Vedanta vs. Mimansa, or Aryasamaji vs. Sanatani, or Naastika vs. Aastika, etc. These differences have no relevance to the well being of the Hindu society, hence not covered by GHI.
GHI's work is in the field of ideas and ideology. The output is in the form described elsewhere in this document. How this intellectual output is used (or not used) is irrlevant to GHI. The GHI by itself will not get into activism or political action. This separation of realms is driven by classical Hindu philosophy itself - intellectuals work in a distinct sphere than politicians and entreprenuers (and vice versa), where the distinct classes have complete freedom to operate on their own.
