Fellowship

Starting 2010, GHI will take the process of intellectual development to another level, where it will ask its member/affiliates and those who leverage its resources, to voluntarily come forward and visibly work as "fellows" of GHI.  GHI will continue to support all its activities in the invisible mode to its current membership. The new fellowship program will be in addition to what it facilitates today.

The salient points of its Fellowship program are:

• Visible association of authors/writers with GHI
• Develop or acquire an in-house publication (web and print) to the GHI fellows
• Publication of selective works in the in-house publication
• More rigorous peer-review and quality control process
• Development of positions on specific issues by the fellows of GHI
• Requirement to submit bibliographical references and enter them into an online system (for later use)
• Verification of bibliographical references by a third party may be required
• Fellows of GHI will have the option to take part in the GHI management
• A nominal affiliation fee will be charged from the fellows of GHI
• Subject to availability of funds, cash awards will be instituted for extraordinary intellectual output
• Online program for identification of young intellectual talents
• A structured training and mentorship program for young talents will be instituted
• Subject to availability of funds, cash awards will be instituted for young intellectuals as an incentive
• Development of online courses for training in addition to workshops
