Executive Processes

Intellectual Engagement

GHI facilitates a process for intellectual engagement that produces tangible results in the form of development of a certain position on a wide variety of topics. Vigorous internal debate, primary research and data collection ensures the quality of the output. Peer review is essential in validation of hypotheses. A multi-step process of information release and refinement and correction is a part of the engagement process. At the same time, it is the prerogative of the author or the commentator to utilize the process to his/her benefit. A thinker's own intuition and creativity supercedes all other forms of input and feedback. Ultimately, the product is owned by its creator, and he/she is ultimately responsible for the contents.

Executive Processes

The executive process available to the affiliates of GHI consists of

  • a structured proposal development,
  • a time bound work plan,
  • seminars for incremental position development,
  • workshops for training (if necessary),
  • incremental release of intellectual output
  • community presentations

Organisational Stucture

GHI does not have any hierarchical organisational structure. Most roles are defined as per the need of the particular endeavour and are usually fixed term.
